It’s one of the best-kept secrets in landscape photography, but it’s entirely possible to get good photos in bad weather. I put this to the test on my last shoot in the Lake District before lockdown 2.0.

Last week England went into lockdown restrictions for 4 weeks so I took the opportunity to get out for one last shoot.

I paid a visit to the River Brathay between Elterwater and Skelwith Bridge and even the rain wasn't enough to put me off!
