Are you considering buying a house?
Here are three essential home buying tips to help you prepare:

1. Check your credit:
One of the biggest mistakes I see people make is putting off a thorough credit analysis until 60 days before the date they want to close on a home.
Whether this is your 1st home buying experience or your 15th, one of the best home buying tips I can give you is to review your credit with a professional as soon as possible.
It's quite common for people to think there are only one or two things to work on, whether it's saving for a down payment or paying off a credit card.
Only for them to later discover that there were 3 other things they could have optimized simultaneously to improve their situation.
Optimizing credit can take time, so it's essential to know exactly where you stand.

2. Manage your debt:
The debt-to-income ratio is one of the main reasons for loan rejection.
Debt-to-credit ratios can have a significant impact on your credit scores. We can help you evaluate and optimize these ratios.

3. Contact a mortgage broker:
Few things are as frustrating as being in the eleventh hour of a purchase transaction and realizing you missed an opportunity.
An experienced mortgage broker can help you with all of this, including budgeting and low down payment options.
