In October 2018, the National Biodiversity Data Center of Ireland was pleased to host the 25th Board Meeting of the Global Biodiversity Information Center (GBIF) in Kilkenny. GBIF is a global network of 59 participating countries and 38 international organizations and initiatives, working together to share data and information on global biological diversity.
