Why do I think difficulty levels give the player too much power to choose how difficult their game is. Selfish, I know, some people want to play games and relax in modern society, just like we were punished in arcades when we were kids back in the day. But why do I feel that so much of the charm of video games is lost because of this preference for being able to choose your difficulty?
