Selling online as an artist? You might be approached by one of these NFT gurus. Beware! They may be scams!

This is a perfect example that I found on Facebook. An NFT guru approached an artist, telling her to list her works on one of the platforms and potentially earn tens of thousands of dollars. This sounds like an opportunity of a lifetime! It seems too good to be true. How could this person evaluate your work without asking for any information about you or your art? They want you to pay the 300 “gas fee” and give permission to sell your art as an NFT. You may now see that it is probably a scam.
