What is evolutionary medicine? In this video I define evolution and explain how Darwin's postulates relate to medicine and public health. Have you ever wondered why people get cancer? Or why obesity has become such a major problem worldwide? If natural selection acts on humans, why have such problems not been eliminated in our population? Who am I? My name is Alivia Brown and I am currently an undergraduate anthropology student at UCLA on a mission to find a career I love.
