The Thor processors are expected to arrive in 2024 for cars that hit the road in 2025, starting with the 001 EV from Chinese automaker Zeekr, said Danny Shapiro, vice president of Nvidia's automotive division. They're based on Nvidia's new Hopper graphics processor to better handle the artificial intelligence software that's key to self-driving cars.
