Water shapes our landscapes and makes our world unique. Only water can be found on Earth in three states of aggregation: gas, liquid and solid. This is what makes the molecule so fascinating.

No other substance has been studied as much and yet still raises as many questions as water. A scientist tries to unlock the secrets of water. 70% of the earth's surface is covered in liquid water.
The documentary gives us an insight into the fascinating landscapes created by water: underwater worlds, interesting ice worlds and unknown caves. But it also shows us the importance of water for the forest ecosystem and for us as living beings.
