McAfee
Spybot Search and Destroy
Ad-Aware
Avast

Or any other software. I've probably tried software not listed here before and they failed and let in viruses or malware. The best thing to do is to follow my proven choices above.

It's either that or you do trial and error. With each mistake, you risk losing sensitive and important data on your computer. But I wouldn't play that way.
