Click Create Helper. Then choose “Change Switch Device Type”. Find your switch in the corresponding field. In my case, it is sw_plug_7. Select your switch.
Now choose the new type. In this case it is /"Light/". Click Submit. Click Finish. Go to the Devices tab and select your switch device. You will now see that there is a switch and a light control available. The switch control is now /"hidden/". Click on the light control and you will see that your switch now responds as a light entity.
