New data from advocacy group Privacy International has revealed that many period tracking apps share a lot of sensitive data with Facebook. Apps like MIA and Maya, among others, shared highly personal data regarding when users logged in, contraceptive use, sexual activity, and more.

Here is a link to their research:

https://privacyinternational.org/long-read/3196/no-bodys-business-mine-how-menstruation-apps-are-sharing-your-data

Many other studies have shown much of this similar information, in addition to the fact that many of these apps may/are inaccurate and do not base their information on a scientific basis.

I am not advocating the use of these menstrual cycle tracking apps as a primary tool to prevent or achieve pregnancy.

List of 10 Free and Accurate Menstrual Cycle Tracking Apps According to a study I found:

1) Index
2) The next day
3) FemCal Lite
4) Fertility cycle
5) The flow

9) Free iPeriod Period Tracker
