What is trunk-based development (TBD)?

Trunk-based development (TBD) is a branching strategy in which developers merge with the main branch on a daily basis. They may additionally have short-lived branches which are also merged daily with the main branch.

By using Trunk-Based Development (TBD), we satisfy one of the requirements of Continuous Integration (CI) which requires the development team to merge with the main branch at least daily.

Thus, to be determined is MANDATORY to satisfy the conditions of continuous integration.
