A disturbance over the central Atlantic is expected to move near the Lesser Antilles by early to mid next week. There is a LOW 20% chance that the system will develop into a tropical system next week. The Saharan dust is starting to become a little thinner, which could mean more tropical systems appear in August. Tropical Storm Bud collapsed in the eastern Pacific and is now a remnant post-tropical depression. An area of low pressure located a few hundred miles south of southern Mexico has a 30% chance of developing into a tropical system next week as it moves west-northwestward.
