On episode 145 of The Johnny Rogers Show, I met professor, author and musician Jeff McMillan! Mr. McMillan was one of my elementary school teachers and after speaking at a meeting I knew I had to get him on the podcast. In this episode, Jeff's word was passion, so we talk about the importance of being passionate about the work you do. Mr. McMillan has always been a great inspiration to me because of his continued dedication to his music and his band Gypsy Moon. On top of that, he was one of the only teachers I had who tried to teach us the skills we would need in the outside world and I will be forever grateful to him. We also talk about his book “What if? Learning for the 21st Century” and why it is important for educators to adapt to this new world of teaching.
