Theoretical physics conference by Professor Martin J. Savage.
This presentation took place live on August 25, 2021 as part of the Theoretical Physics Symposium Series organized by Professor Igor Shovkovy at Arizona State University. The series features high-quality, interactive presentations on current advances in theoretical physics by researchers active in the field of theoretical physics.
Summary of this presentation:
Predictions of the properties and dynamics of quantum field theories and many-body quantum systems important for research in nuclear physics and particle physics, from dense and/or non-equilibrium matter to neutrino systems, in through fragmentation in high-energy collisions, require, in many cases, beyond conventional computing resources. Future quantum simulations should pave the way for certain quantities. I will discuss progress toward achieving these goals.
