Marianne received her BFA in Theater Arts from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Marianne has directed numerous main stage productions for Grandstreet, most recently The Lion King, JR, Rock of Ages, A Christmas Carol, Oklahoma, The 25th Annual Putnam Co. Spelling Bee, Big River, Ragtime, Annie, Peter Pan, Oliver , and Songs for a New World. She gives acting classes at the theater school (the biggest kids in town). She also worked as a mentor and artist-in-residence in public schools in and around Helena. Marianne was a 2015 finalist for the Excellence in Theater Education Award presented by the Broadway League and Carnegie Mellon University at the Tony Awards.
