I imagine you are familiar with the concept of water. Maybe you've been caught off guard in a rainstorm, watched ducks hanging out in a pond, participated in a snowball fight, or swam in the ocean. If so, you were witnessing part of the water cycle. But the water cycle, or the hydrological cycle, if you want to put it in several syllables, is much more than what we can see. The hydrological cycle connects the atmosphere, soil and all living and non-living parts of this planet.
