In this session we examine the training process using concepts such as general adaptation syndrome, the fitness-fatigue paradigm, and stimulation, adaptation, and recovery curves. We also look at internal and external load monitoring strategies as well as fatigue monitoring tests such as counter-movement vertical jump. Finally, we introduce the concept of invisible surveillance.
