Earlier this year, the Josh.ai team invited our team to film this awesome demo at the 2019 CEDIA Dealer Expo and we're excited to share it with you here!

Josh is voice controlled on steroids. It takes voice control and home automation to a whole new level. Josh can be a standalone solution, but in most cases you pair it with a platform like Control4, Savant, or Crestron to maximize its strength. In the demo, the Josh.ai team highlights some of the exciting new features…

1. Integrated lighting control with Ketra. If you're familiar with low voltage lighting or adjustable lighting, Josh takes it to a whole new level. You can give voice commands to quickly change the lighting and ambiance of the room.

2. Once a command is given, the Josh Micro on the wall also serves as a touch control, you can touch it to dim the lights, adjust the volume and fine-tune to the most recent command.

3. Here, Josh is also shown controlling the Lutron blinds. This can be done as a custom scene that you create or as a simple command.

4. Compound Commands – one of Josh's coolest features is that you don't need to ask a programmer to write a "custom scene" for you to use voice command. You can call Josh multiple commands in a row, and Josh is smart enough to execute all these commands. So whatever you're feeling in the moment, Josh can identify your smart home for you.

5. Privacy – one of the main features of Josh.ai is that it offers complete privacy. There's no data mining, no recording of your conversations, you get incredible voice control with absolute privacy in your home.
