Purchasing your first astronomy telescope is a step toward a new level of appreciation of the night sky.
Almost 8 years ago I bought my first telescope – a Dobsonian reflector – just like this one (just smaller). The experiences I had early on with this telescope propelled my love for astronomy.
I think an 8 inch Dob, like the one shown in this video (Apertura AD8), is the best telescope a beginner can start with.
