An energetic and interactive sharing and networking session with award-winning designers from the Danish Design Award and President*s Design Award Singapore, discussing how technology and design can be used for social good. Asger Steenholdt, Chief Music Architect of Inmu, winner of Denmark's Danish Design Award, explained how interactive music and haptic experience reduce anxiety and improve quality of life for dementia patients, while Carl- Emil Jensen, creative lead at Too Good to Go, explained how his team developed the world's first free smartphone app that fights food waste. Our local designer and P*DA Award winner, Bassam Jabry of Chimie, joined them to discuss how his technology-driven work is helping to provide access to better healthcare for pregnant women in developing countries.
The program was co-organized by the Danish Design Award and the President*s Design Award as part of a three-year outreach partnership to promote excellent and impactful design.
