Hey guys, my name is Trevor. I am a senior at Indiana University and will be graduating with a degree in Sports Marketing and Management. This video covers the six things you should know before making the decision whether or not to major in sport management.

The 6 things to consider…

1. Some degrees may get you into a sports career, but a sports management degree may not get you into a business career.

2. Many people working in sports have degrees in another field.

3. Sports management programs provide more volunteering and networking opportunities in sports than other programs.

4. It can be difficult to find an internship.

5. Classes tend to be really easy!

6. You should probably be a sports fan, otherwise you might get bored in class.
