So in today's video we look at using Home Assistant to display severe weather alerts and weather radar right in your dashboard. We'll look at alternative weather forecast sources for your dashboard, adding a moving weather radar image as a camera and setting up weather alerts.

The benefit of having this data in Home Assistant is that you can send alerts and radar images to your phone via the notification service or have it read the alerts via text-to-speech.
