We are excited to welcome AR/VR developer and XR instructor Gospel Ononwi to lead the Snap Chat Lens Studio Track of the XR Innovation Launchpad program. Gospel will guide the 100 selected participants in creating custom Spark AR filters and experiences using their mobile devices and PCs.
Our guest for the session is Mfon Enoh, a game developer, Unreal Engine instructor, UEFN – Fortnite creator and Women in Gaming Ambassador. She will share her journey with game development, creating with Unreal Engine, and showcase inspiring XR and gaming experiences, aiming to encourage more women to get into game development and XR in Africa.
About the XR Innovation Launchpad 2024 Program
XR Innovation Launchpad is an initiative by Immersive Tech Africa designed to upskill emerging talents and creators. It is a 10-week hybrid training program aimed at launching careers in Extended Reality (XR) technology across Africa.
With the growing relevance of XR across various sectors from education to entertainment, this programme aims to address the technical and creative talent and skills gap in the XR industry and foster innovation on the continent.
