Secondary school teachers can get an income boost of INR 20,000 per month. One who starts teaching in universities can earn up to INR 35,000.
Since this career option is related to the education sector, it is of utmost importance for aspiring teachers to obtain their professional degree from a reputed institute. Some of the best colleges that provide training in this field are IGNOU, Annamalai University, Adarsh Vidya Mandir PG College, National Council of Teacher Education, Delhi; Guru Gobind Indraprastha University, Delhi; Teachers’ Training College (Agartala); Himachal Pradesh University, Adhyapak Vidyalaya Junior College of Education (Mumbai) and more. There are also institutes that offer distance learning courses in all states. But for those who are not under any major constraints and want to get high income from the start, they can consider the option of taking a regular course.
After completing a degree, one can apply to various schools and colleges of their niche. There are also websites where one can submit their CV in order to get a job in a prestigious institute. Teaching is a great long-term career option, even for those in transferable jobs.
