Dr. Rob Ellis of Geosoft presented this talk, A Working Guide to 3D Inversion Methods in Mining Geophysics, at SEG 2012 in Las Vegas. This workshop brought together a range of experts to present the basic mathematics and algorithms of inversion methods, both the current state of the art and future developments and limitations. The workshop was aimed at non-specialist geophysicists who work with the various datasets involved and who are able to perform or contract inversion studies and interpret the results.
