Breathing exercises can be a great way to relieve stress and anxiety. This video focuses on two relaxing breathing techniques: square breathing (i.e. box breathing, 4×4 breathing, 4-part breathing, etc.) and pinch breathing. More breathing exercises: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v-7-CAFhJn78

I start with square breathing. It is so effective in relieving stress and anxiety that it is sometimes used in the military to help calm nerves before stressful situations.

It's performed exactly as it sounds: using your breath to form a square. Also use imagery and imagine creating a square or following something with a square pattern with your breath. Each position lasts 4 seconds. Inhale for 4 seconds, hold your breath for 4 seconds, exhale for 4 seconds, and hold your breath again for 4 seconds.

Pinch breathing is another breathing technique that can help relieve stress and anxiety, and it can also help strengthen your lungs. For this one, use diaphragmatic or abdominal breathing. Inhale for 4 seconds, then exhale while pursing your lips for 8 seconds.
