Ahmad Mansoor Ramizy, a well-known Afghan personality, leads efforts to raise astronomy and science awareness through media programs and is the author of two astronomy books. He founded The Voice of Science Afghanistan, producing YouTube podcasts and a science magazine. Ramizy started the Astronomy Club at the American University of Afghanistan and is director of the Ideas Beyond Borders program in New York. He completed his high school education in Kabul and is now studying mathematics and physics at the University of Toronto. Ramizy advises organizations like Save the Children Afghanistan and works with Astronomers Without Borders. He advocates for peace, education and enlightenment in Afghanistan.
