Cawkers Creek is one of several tributaries that flow north through Durham Region and empty into Lake Scugog. Each month our staff travels to select points along Cawkers Creek to collect water samples, check water temperatures, conductivity and more as part of our Lake Scugog Environmental Management Plan.

The Lake Scugog Environmental Management Plan is a framework to ensure the long-term environmental and social sustainability of Lake Scugog and its resources, which guides our monitoring, research and stewardship in the region.
