In this video we talk about the main principles of stratigraphy used by geologists to reconstruct past environments: principles of superposition, original horizontality, lateral continuity, correlation. We will discuss how we can estimate the relative ages of the deposits and, by dating some of them, reconstruct the depositional history.

This video is educational, I speak without notes and I deliberately use simple language. My goal here is to make science accessible to everyone.
