Thanks to Morning Brew for being my very first video sponsor. Anyone who has been watching my channel for a while knows that I will only work with brands that I use personally. It's completely free, so there's no reason not to check it out at – https://bit.ly/mbhowmoneyworks2

Video game developers are for-profit businesses and, in many cases, shareholders they need to stay happy.

Selling a game once is great, but that means there is a set amount of money that can be made from a set game market. Exceptions exist, I managed to buy Skyrim for PS3, PS4 and PC, but I don't like to talk about it.

The problem here is that some people are only willing to spend $20 a month on video games, while others are happy to spend thousands.

The only way to truly maximize profits is to get all possible players to pay the maximum possible amount that they are individually willing to pay for a game.
