We're all guilty of idolizing the long ball, but hitting a baseball/softball, much less hitting a baseball/softball for power, takes an insane amount of control.

If you can't manipulate your body, your hips, your barrel, your hands, your swing to produce a certain result, you will never understand how in control elite hitters are.

If you do, say, 10 rounds of 6-8 swings for simplicity

1st round warm-up
Round 2-3 placing the ball/handling
Round 3-4 maybe situational depending on the day
Round 5-8 to feel what you are working on
Round 9-10, let him lose/feel good

This is where 90% of hitters fail in their approach! If you want to play professional ball, this is a great way to start moving in the right direction.

It's not all about homers and 90+ pitches…these results are the product of a good young blood routine.
