Linear accelerators are used to create radiation to treat cancer, sterilize medical equipment and much more. They are also capable of generating lightning sculptures, officially known as 3D Lichtenberg figures, which are a unique and beautiful way to visualize electron trajectories and are used to demonstrate electron beam technology.
