The NASA Technology Transfer Program is pleased to announce the 2nd annual Startup NASA Feature Series. This webinar series provides an opportunity to learn more about early-stage companies that have licensed NASA-developed technologies and are working to commercialize these innovations.

On May 19, 2021, representatives from SMART Tire Company, based in Los Angeles, California, introduced their revolutionary bicycle tire product called METL. The technology is based on a superelastic tire technology that uses a shape memory alloy (SMA) that was originally developed at NASA’s Glenn Research Center.

During this event, company representatives share their story with you, including how they got involved with NASA and where they are currently in developing their new product or system.

Please feel free to connect and share this video with your friends and family if you find it useful.
