MY ultimate environmental impact assessment process has changed over time. the universal process has been well defined in environmental books and has been taught to environmental consultants. but to be a successful consultant or in my case I find merging some steps has shortened the EIA process which is a win-win situation for me as an expert and my client. These steps include merging site visitation and public participation on the same day.
