A creative impulse can arise at any time. For musicians, it can happen when you least expect it. This could be when you're walking down the street, eating pie at your grandmother's house, or even when you're sitting on the toilet. It's an experiment to show you what happens when three creative minds create a song together. We brought together three musicians who have never played together in separate rooms and they created a song at the TEDxOslo 2016 conference. By sharing recordings and layering them on top of each other, the musicians were able to collaborate and create a song.

Trym Syversen and Erlend Kartvedt are musicians and co-founders of Museai. As musicians, they felt the need for a better tool to collaborate and share their musical ideas. That's why they started creating Museai, the collaborative voice recording app for musicians. During the songwriting experience at TEDx Oslo they were joined by: Theo Saenger (vocalist of Teddy and the Love Gang), Jonas Barsten (session drummer) and Bjørnar Ekse Brandseth (guitarist of The Northern Bell) .

This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx
