* Three different location technologies: global positioning system, WiFi and cellular triangulation.
* 4G technology for improved communication. Many medical alert systems still rely on slower 3G technology.
*A battery that will power the device for up to 5 days.
* It's water resistant, so you can wear it in the shower.
*And in addition to HD speakers with noise reduction, a microphone and an emergency call button, the Mini Guardian also includes built-in fall detection! The device contains an accelerometer that constantly calculates whether you have fallen. If the high-tech device determines that this is the case, it proactively calls the call center. They're not 100% accurate, but they could mean the difference between life and death.
