Today, we're excited to introduce our Certificates of Deposit (CDs) – a secure, flexible savings option with guaranteed returns, backed by FDIC insurance. Learn how to grow your savings faster with a CD at www.fnba.com/cds/certificates-of-deposit/.
WHAT IS CD FLASHING?
CD Laddering is an investment strategy in which you divide your savings into multiple CDs with different maturity dates. This approach allows you to take advantage of higher interest rates on long-term CDs while still having access to your money at regular intervals. By staggering maturity dates, you can reinvest funds from maturing CDs into new ones, ensuring a continuous cycle of earnings and flexibility.
WHAT IS A CERTIFICATE OF DEPOSIT (CD)?
A certificate of deposit (CD) is a low-risk savings account offering a fixed interest rate for a set period of time, ranging from a few months to several years. CDs offer higher interest rates than regular savings accounts because you agree to keep the funds deposited for the term you choose. This allows you to grow your savings more efficiently!
We offer a wide range of CD terms to meet your needs. With a certificate of deposit, you'll know exactly what return to expect because the high-yielding rate is locked in from the day you open the account until maturity. Your funds are FDIC insured up to $250,000 per depositor. Start earning higher returns by opening a CD online today for as little as $1,000!
HOW TO FINANCE A NEW CD
Fund your new CD via an ACH transfer from a checking or savings account (excluding brokerage, annuity, or CD accounts). Allow up to ten business days for funds to be withdrawn from your external account. ACH funding is requested on the account opening date.
ONLINE DEPOSIT ACCOUNTS AVAILABLE
Personal certificates of deposit
High Yield Personal Savings Accounts
We do not offer specialized accounts online (e.g., business, trust, estate, power of attorney, custodial accounts, HSA, or IRA).
OPTIONS WHEN THE CD IS PLAYING
At maturity, you will be able to:
-Take no action and your CD will be automatically renewed for the same duration at the current rate.
-Renew your entire CD into a new term at current rates.
-Remove part of your CD and roll the rest into a new term at current rates.
-Remove all funds from the CD.
Explore secure investments with certificates of deposit, a reliable option for high-yield savings. Terms range from 12 to 84 months, with FDIC insurance ensuring the security of your financial planning. CD rates offer a guaranteed return, making these fixed interest deposits a crucial tool for effective money management.
