Why should parents care?

–Anyone can watch your students' videos and access their information on the app

–Any app that encourages students to connect with strangers online or with strangers in their area can be very dangerous.

–Although the app requires users to be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to use the app, it is very easy to bypass these restrictions and create an account as a minor.

–Broadcasts may contain inappropriate and illegal content

–Comments on broadcasts may be offensive, racist or negative

–Underage broadcasters can be targeted by predators and are regularly asked to act inappropriately while broadcasting.

–Anyone, including predators, can access the Live.me app and watch videos of people nearby

–Live.me uses geolocation to share videos so users know the exact location of broadcasters

–Teens and tweens earn coins on Live.me and some predators use coins to pay minors for photos.
