Have you ever wondered how black holes form? Or if the Sun would one day transform into one? Fortunately for us, our Sun is not big enough. Black holes form when extremely massive stars explode at the end of their lives, leaving behind a core that collapses into an infinitesimally small space, called a singularity. Their force of gravity is so strong that even light couldn't escape if it got too close!
