Jade hunting on the Mighty Fraser River in British Columbia, Canada. In this video I spend an afternoon searching for jade on one of my Fraser River Jade claims. I find many pieces that could be Jade (Nephrite) or Serpentine. I then take them home and give them 3 tests to determine if it is a BC Jade face or just a serpentine gem.

Nephrite is the mineral name for what we all know as Jade.
