Since 1949, Mental Health America and our affiliates across the country have celebrated May as Mental Health Month by reaching millions of people through media, local events and screenings. Each year, MHA publishes a May is Mental Health Month toolkit that includes sample communications materials as well as printable handouts and worksheets. The 2021 Toolkit focuses on the Tools 2 Thrive theme, providing practical tools that everyone can use to improve their mental health and increase resilience, regardless of their personal circumstances.

We invite other organizations to join us in spreading the message that mental health is something everyone should care about using the materials in the May is Mental Health Month toolkit and leading awareness activities in your own communities.

Join us for this 60 minute webinar where we will discuss:
– What's included in MHA's Mental Health Month 2021 Toolkit (available for download at www.MHAnational.org/may);
– How to use toolkit content on social media to promote Mental Health Month;
– Examples of awareness events to increase mental health awareness; And
– How community organizations used these materials.

This webinar was originally hosted on May 6, 2021.
