I discovered a hidden nebula in the Pinwheel galaxy…
Zoom in on this high-resolution image of Messier 101
We will take a closer look at this faint star cluster, which seems to hide a small nebula,
that it might have been overlooked and that it might be a new discovery,
I only observed it because I was processing raw data captured by the Hubble Space Telescope,
and I believe it could be a planetary nebula or a supernova remnant.
Searching the Simbad database, I found a supernova remnant in the nearby region, but the nebula was too faint to show up on the map.
and is so far away that most telescopes on Earth cannot capture the details of this nebula…
Have I discovered a new nebula? What do you think?
