Hungary and Slovakia call on the EU to mediate over Lukoil ban in Ukraine. Both countries, seen as having pro-Moscow ties, said they were no longer receiving oil from Russia. The European Commission has three days to respond to the consultation initiated by the two countries. But as temperatures rise in Europe this summer, so do tensions.
