This is a BASIC guide from dry cleaning to hand washing. Please keep in mind that hand washing many clothes, or heavily soiled clothes, takes a long time and is much more involved than that.

To start, make sure your clothes can be washed in water. We don't want to do more harm than good! Then begin treating any dirty areas with your favorite stain remover (the longer the treatment stays on the stain, the better it will work).

Now it's time to wash up! Take a clean bucket or sink and fill it with warm water (cold water will be difficult to work with after a while). Add a few drops of your hand wash detergent, mix it in, then drop in your items.

It is best to use up and down motions for the textile, but light rubbing on dirty areas is also very helpful. Make sure to rinse it well, then let it air dry.

A good tip for drying knits is to wrap them in a towel, squeeze it, then let them dry flat. You CANNOT hand dry a wet knit, you will ruin it!!!

Hope this helps 🙂
