PhotoPad's selection tools allow you to select part of an image or the entire image.
The selection tools are found on the Select tab. The rectangle and oval selection tools are on the left. Use the mouse to click on a point in the image, then drag to create a rectangular or oval selection. If your selection isn't quite perfect, simply click and drag again to create a new selection.
