HOW TO SAVE 10,000 QUICKLY:

1. Break down the calendar
There's a problem if you say to yourself, "I just want to save 10,000 as quickly as possible" – in which case the deadline is UNDEFINED – so it helps to have a REALISTIC timetable of when you want to reach your objective.

2. Start now
You have the MOST momentum when you are initially excited about the idea of trying something new; within a day or so, that excitement fades and you're stuck with the reality that your entire life has been one giant procrastination. So get started immediately!

3. Create a budget
All you have to do is create a free account with a money tracking platform where they consolidate all your accounts and credit cards into one interface. From there, you can see exactly how much money is coming in – and going out – each day, in real time.

4. Cut expenses
You'll quickly start to see that there is a LOT of discretionary income that you don't need to spend at all. Find out what these are and learn new ways to reduce or save the difference.

5. Pay yourself first
With this, you'll AUTOMATICALLY "pay" yourself a certain amount of money, up front, and then be free to spend what's left. This ensures that you will always have money left over each month.

6. Here are practical ways to reduce your expenses:

Accommodation: Perhaps you could rent a room. You might want to ask your landlord for a rent reduction or consider moving to a less expensive area once your lease is up. If you own a home, look into home insurance, make sure you adjust the thermostat to save money when you don't need it, reduce your water usage, you have a ton of ways to cut costs here, and – by implementing a few of them… you should be able to save AT LEAST an extra $10 per day.

Transportation: Most cars hit their “peak depreciation” around year 6 or 7 – so use this to your advantage, as you will then be able to recoup as much value as possible over the course of your ownership.

Taxes: It's more important than ever to make sure you have at least a BASIC UNDERSTANDING of how the tax system works so you can fully utilize every resource designed to help you keep more money.

Food: STOP ALL LAZY EXPENDITURE. Don't order Starbucks when you can just as easily make it at home. Do not post classmates' meals when you have food available in the refrigerator. By doing this, EVEN if you manage to save just an extra 3 a day, it really starts to add up.

Debt Payoff: The AVERAGE American is said to have $5,700 worth of credit card debt at an average interest rate of 24% – meaning that's $114 wasted – every month – that you do not pay your bill in full. .

Clothing: Americans spend an average of $133 per month on clothing. If this is true, stop shopping or cut your clothing budget in half.

7. Get a Side Hustle
If you're not ready to cut back on your spending and don't want to save money by eating beans and rice every night, the fact is that you need to make more money…and the easiest way is to quick to achieve this is to work. more hours.
