SHOW NOTES //
Negotiating is *scary*. I won't argue with you there. It's also a bit embarrassing. It's normal.

At the same time, it is also very important and completely expected in American work culture.

In this video, I:

~ Calm any fears or anxieties about trading.

~Explain why it is so important to negotiate early and often.

~ Suggest specific techniques, tools and scripts.

~Talk about common mistakes people make in negotiations (and how you can avoid them).

Whether you're a recent college or high school graduate looking to land your first job, or a senior executive who's been working for decades, this video is for you. Not only do I give you practical negotiation advice, but I also strive to give you the confidence you need to have this somewhat awkward and uncomfortable conversation. Negotiating your salary is normal, expected and important. Don't lose this /"investment/" just because you are afraid of the business. They expect you to negotiate, so go for it!
