This is a simple budget where I break down my paychecks. When I write a budget, I use a column for each account I have. Since I use my credit card for everything, I like to keep those expenses separate. I always do the math and make sure to add the credit card total to my checking account column to make sure I have enough money to pay the bill at the end of the month. I also keep my credit card bill on autopay to avoid late payments and interest. Budgeting is easy when everything is accounted for and automated.
