Your computer's firewall is designed to prevent unauthorized access to your computer or network from malware and hackers. However, sometimes your firewall may block access to an application or connection you want to establish. You can temporarily disable your firewall to allow access to an application or connection you want to establish. Keep in mind that disabling your firewall can put you at significant risk of unauthorized access to your computer or network and hacker attacks.
-Click on the Windows Start menu or press Win. The Windows Start menu is the button with the Windows logo on it. By default, it is in the lower left corner. Click this button to display the Windows Start menu.
-Click on the Settings icon. It's the icon that looks like a gear. It's in the panel to the left of the Windows Start menu. This opens the Settings menu.
-Click on Update & Security. It features an icon that looks like two arched arrows forming a circle. It's in the Windows Settings menu.
-Click on Windows Security. It's next to an icon that looks like a shield. It's in the left panel.
-Click Open Windows Security. It's the button at the top of the Windows Security page.
-Click on Firewall and network protection. It's next to an icon that looks like a radio tower. You can either click on it in the left panel or on the large icon in the center of the page.
-Click on a network. Typically, your Wi-Fi or Internet network is under Public Network. The private network is where you can control access to your local network and other devices connected to your computer. Domain networking is for a workspace network consisting of multiple computers on the same network.
-Click the off.png toggle switch below /"Microsoft Defender Firewall./" This turns off your firewall. This could make your network more vulnerable to unauthorized access and external attacks.
